YMCA Cheltenham is an organisation founded on Christian values and, as such, employees may encounter behaviours or vestiges particular to, or representative of, the Christian faith in the workplace. Employees are not required to adhere to the Christian faith or any faith, and no such consideration is taken into account by the organisation when making employment choices or delivering its services.   ABOUT THE ROLE The Night Concierge role is responsible for the support, safety and security of all residents between 8:00 pm and 8:00 am on a shift pattern.  This role is an opportunity to build on the work undertaken by support workers during the daytime hours.  The role will also involve making sure those in our duty of care are safe and secure throughout the night.   ABOUT WHAT WE OFFER We offer a salary for this position of up to £26,767 per annum, depending on relevant skills, experience and qualifications.  The role is 40 hours a week, working on a rota basis with weekend work.   The shifts are on a rota where you work 4 days on and 4 days off and from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. The organisation recognises that employees need downtime, or time off, so time will be given off after working shifts to ensure that you can achieve a great work-life balance. We provide a generous contributory pension, 28 days holiday inclusive of Public Holidays (increasing after 2 years with an additional extra day of holiday, up to a maximum of an additional 5 days), 2 additional wellbeing days a year, and up to 20 days sick pay per annum. The organisation also offers non-contractual benefits such as life assurance and free use of the organisation’s sports facilities.
