Community Kitchen Glos
Community Kitchen Glos is a group of volunteers who help fight food poverty in Gloucester. They cook and serve a free three-course meal every Monday evening. It’s a good place for anyone who needs a meal and some company.

Community Canteen

Freshly cooked meals and home made frozen meals available Monday – Thursday 8am-2pm.

Breakfast, tea, coffee, and homemade lunches as well as delicious homemade cake. Free Wi-Fi, printer, children’s area and sewing machine available to mend clothes plus clothes and books swaps. All on a pay-as-you-feel basis.


Feeding Gloucestershire

Feeding Gloucestershire is a multi-agency partnership, which was convened in July 2021. The aim of Feeding Gloucestershire is to work with organisations across the county to drive systemic change and build food security across all communities in Gloucestershire.

Warwick Place Community Kitchen, Cheltenham

The Community Kitchen opens on the first Saturday of every month, 17:00-19:00, at Friends Meeting House, Warwick Place, Portland Street, Cheltenham GL52 2NP. 

We serve hot, fresh, home-made food. There are always two meal options, one of which will be vegetarian. We welcome children, and can provide children’s portions of our main options or a baked potato, beans and cheese. You can eat in, in our warm welcoming canteen space, or we’ll box up a meal for you to take away if you prefer.

Payment is as you feel. You can eat for free, or give us a donation if you are able. There is no difference in experience, and what you give us is completely private and up to you.

We are wheelchair accessible, and we have disabled toilet facilities and baby change facilities.

Cheltenham Open Door

Cheltenham Open Door is dedicated to supporting those in need with daily necessities and a warm, welcoming space. Whether you’re looking for food, clothing, or basic supplies, they are here to help.

Meals

From Monday to Thursday we serve a help-yourself breakfast and a hot two-course lunch. Our food is homemade and tasty and our menu varies daily. On Sundays we serve a hot breakfast only.

Food to go

Guests can take their lunch away if they do not wish to eat lunch at the Guest Hub. We also provide street-food parcels for our homeless guests.

Clean, good quality clothing is available from our clothing store.

Showers and laundry

Guests have access to shower facilities, fresh towels and toiletries. Take away toiletries can also be requested. Guest can also wash and dry clothes on site.

You can donate toiletries to us.

Street kit

When homeless guests cannot be housed immediately, we can offer street kit, such as flasks, sleeping bags, survival bags etc.

We help guests to access services, including housing charities and services such as P3; addiction assistance including Change Grow Live; Citizens Advice sessions and Severe Weather Emergency Protocol provision.

Gloucestershire 

Forest Green Community Cafe and Food Project

The café and food pantry are open to EVERYONE and to ALL ages. There are hot drinks, biscuits, breakfast items, cakes, crafts and good company!

The Food Pantry will be open and accessible to all – please ask a volunteer if you need support with food. There aren’t any criteria for using the food pantry, whether you work or not, have children or not, claim benefits or not, visit the café or not. There are no questions asked just support.

The café is PAYF (Pay As You Feel), and this wouldn’t be possible without the support of volunteers, Forest Green Rovers Community, grants from organisations, food donations from the public and local supermarkets.
Come in and say hello, enjoy a drink and a chat.

We are able to refer to Stroud foodbank, they also attend every Thursday as the address is also a distribution point.
the 1st Monday of each month SDC housing officer, social prescriber, Employment support and Digi support are in attendance.

Dean Forest Kitchen

Dean Forest Kitchen offer a Meals on Wheels service throughout the Forest of Dean.
All meals cooked fresh and delivered hot by a friendly face. If you are elderly, isolated, can’t leave your home and any other reason then get in touch

Dean Forest Kitchen have a kitchen for community use and cookery lessons and are able to offer additional support such as signposting to additional help.

All Pulling Together CIC

All Pulling Together Community Association was set up by the local residents of Park Estate Stonehouse.

We give out food supplies on two days per week – larder and fresh food.

We are a food bank referrer and offer Debt advice; P3 Charity; C.A.B; Severn Wye Energy on site and other signposting
