From November 2025 YMCA Cheltenham is marking an incredible 170 years of supporting the local community right here in Gloucestershire. To celebrate we are seeking 170 sponsors, whether that be individuals, businesses or organisations, to be part of something truly life-changing.

We invite you to take part in Space To Thrive — an opportunity for you or your organisation to directly support someone in the local area who is at risk of homelessness, be it a family, young person or adult; not just to survive, but thrive!

We are asking if you can, for a whole year, donate £50 per month, which can give the prospect of a new beginning for someone who may find themselves in our supported accommodation. Space To Thrive is about giving a person dignity, hope, and the tools they need to thrive.

Your monthly support will provide:

• A welcome hamper to make their room feel like home
• Food vouchers to ease the stress of daily living
• Wellbeing support and access to essentials like a SIM card, haircut, or a suit for job interviews
• A chance to experience joy again with cinema tickets, a day trip, or something just for them
